Etsy and WooCommerce are now one click. What that actually removes.
For most of Welra’s first month, “connect your shop” meant one of two things. If you sold through Printify, you clicked Connect and you were done. If you sold anywhere else, it meant finding your platform’s export screen, downloading a CSV, and uploading it by hand — a real step, and the first thing I’d apologize for whenever I asked someone to try it.
This week that changed for two more platforms: Etsy and WooCommerce.
What “one click” actually means
No export, no file, nothing to send me. On the dashboard’s Integrations page you click Connect, log in on Etsy’s or WooCommerce’s own site, approve the request, and you’re back on Welra with the connection live. The same shape as connecting any app to your Google account — because that’s exactly what it is under the hood, just read-only.
I proved it on my own shop first, the same way I tested the report itself before asking anyone else to trust it (I wrote about that $0 week a couple days ago). The first real Etsy connection went through on Rust & Rainbow this week, and it produced something Welra had never sent before: one report reading two platforms at once, Printify and Etsy together, in a single Monday email instead of two separate ones.
Why the CSV step mattered more than it looked like it did
A file export is a small ask on paper. In practice it’s the point where a “sure, I’ll try it” turns into a “I’ll get to it later” that never happens — because it’s a task, not a click, and it has to be repeated every time you want fresh data outside the weekly send. Removing it doesn’t just save a few minutes. It changes trying Welra from something you schedule to something you do right now, while you’re already looking at the page.
The honest limit
Not every platform is there yet. Shopify’s connect is built and works against a test store, but I’m not putting it in front of real sellers until it’s been proven against a live one the same way Etsy and WooCommerce just were — so for now it stays off the dashboard rather than sit there half-working. Instagram is a read-only engagement add-on, not a sales source. And CSV upload isn’t going anywhere: it’s still the fastest path for any platform that doesn’t have a one-click connection yet, and it’ll keep working exactly as it does today.
If you sell on Etsy or run WooCommerce, the first report is free and now genuinely takes about as long as logging in. If you want to see the format first, take a look at a sample report.
